Edward Sim
President, Physician Integration

In July 2011, Edward Sim was named President of Physician Integration, where his role is to lead Baptist Health in developing closely aligned relationships with physicians. Prior to his promotion, Edward Sim served as Hospital President of Baptist Medical Center Beaches (Baptist Beaches) from 2009 to 2011. Previously, he served as Vice President, Operations, at Baptist Downtown for three years, where he was responsible for leadership and management of the hospital's ancillary and outpatient departments, including Imaging, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Pulmonology, Rehabilitation, Endoscopy, Baptist Cancer Institute, and Jacksonville Orthopaedic Institute.
Before joining Baptist Health, Sim served as Chief Business Development Officer and Associate Administrator at North Fulton Regional Hospital in Roswell, Georgia.
Sim received his bachelor's degree in economics from Boston University, his Master of Science degree from Albany Medical College, and his Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in health sector management, from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
Sim is an active community volunteer, serving on the Board for the Jacksonville Beach Chamber of Commerce, Fleet Landing, University of North Florida Health Administration Program and the Community Advisory Board for WJCT. He has also served on the boards of organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Florida, The Blood Alliance, and the American Cancer Society. Sim chaired Baptist Health's 2008 United Way Campaign and is a member of Leadership Jacksonville's Class of 2007.
