Edward Sim
Administrator, Baptist Medical Center Beaches

Eddie Sim Edward Sim has been Administrator of Baptist Medical Center Beaches (Baptist Beaches) since January 2009. Previously, he served as Vice President, Operations, at Baptist Downtown for three years, where he was responsible for leadership and management of the hospital's ancillary and outpatient departments, including Imaging, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Pulmonology, Rehabilitation, Endoscopy, Baptist Cancer Institute, and Jacksonville Orthopaedic Institute.

Before joining Baptist Health, Sim served as Chief Business Development Officer and Associate Administrator at North Fulton Regional Hospital in Roswell, Georgia.

Sim received his bachelor's degree in economics from Boston University, his Master of Science degree from Albany Medical College, and his Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in health sector management, from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.

Sim is an active community volunteer, serving as a board member and volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Florida. He is also an executive board member for The Blood Alliance, and is a unit operating board member of the American Cancer Society. In addition, he serves on the Community Advisory Board for WJCT, and chaired Baptist Health's 2008 United Way Campaign. He is a member of Leadership Jacksonville's Class of 2007.
