Stephen Lee, EdD, FACHE, has served as hospital president of Baptist Nassau since January 2012. Prior to this promotion, he was Vice President of Operations for Baptist Downtown, and was responsible for leadership and management of the hospital's ancillary and outpatient departments, including Imaging, Pharmacy, Pulmonology, Rehabilitation, Baptist Cancer Institute, Baptist Eye Institute, Hospitalists and Jacksonville Orthopaedic Institute.
Previously, Lee served as the Assistant Administrator of Clinical and Support Services at Baptist Medical Center South for five years. He was responsible for the Emergency Department, Cardiopulmonary, Radiation Oncology, Laboratory, Rehabilitation Services, Imaging, Health Information Management, Plant Facilities, Security, Environmental Services, Food and Nutrition, and Patient Access Services. He played an integral part in the creation of Baptist South's system of accesses and processes for the electronic environment.
Lee is a graduate of the Executive Fellowship program with the Health Care Advisory Board in Washington, D.C. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida, his master's degree in Education from the University of North Florida, and his doctorate degree from Florida State University.
